"Some projects require specialty gear -- there is no one-size fits all. But you can get a lot done with a well conceived gear list. My basic kit has been carried around the world, and delivered results. I work primarily with Sony equipment -- a 'Super35' camera that is often my first choice, a 'Full Frame' camera that offers more low light ability, and a combination full frame and 'video' camera that is better configured for hand-held motion shots. All work with the eight different Sony lens I carry, and all can use legacy glass using adapters -- it gives me some pleasure to find most shoots I still find a use for the Canon 50/1.4 FDn lens I first put in my kit bag more than forty years ago!
